Navigating the CleanChain Chemical Dashboards (All Users)

The CleanChain dashboard is where you can find advanced reporting and analytics and your suppliers' chemical conformance and supply chain data.   

Dashboards - Chemical contains these tabs Suppliers, Supplier Conformance, Product Conformance, Questions, Inventory Products, and Inventory Status.   

To access your Dashboard:   

 

  1. Click Dashboard using the left navigation menu.  
    Note: Dashboard has two sub-sections: Chemical and Action.  

  1. Click Chemical.  

     

A) Suppliers  

If you are a vendor, brand, or other organization with supplier connections, the Organization Filter at the top of the page can be used to isolate a portion of your supply chain.  
  
On the Suppliers tab, the selections in the filter are reflected throughout the Dashboard.   
  

For Brands, read through Supply Chain Status (Brands) to learn how to filter Suppliers.  

If you want to see analytics for your entire supply chain, leave the filter selection as "All Connections".   
 

The Suppliers tab displays your connections by geography using an interactive map or a list.   
This tab is ideal for brands, vendors, or any organization that wants to visualize its supply chain.  

1) Map View  

  1. Click Map.  

  1. Hover over the points on your map to display the organization name.  
     

  1. Click on a map point to view more details about your connection, including their recent activity and number of inventory products.    
      

2) List View  

  1. Click List to view a simplified list of connections.   
      

  1. Click the organization name to open their organization profile.  
      

B) Supplier Conformance  

This dashboard shows your suppliers' conformance by product count and weight.  

  1. You may customize your dashboard by filtering individual Suppliers, Countries, Connections, All Connections, All Products, Date Period, Inventory Type, Certification Standards, Product Tags, and % conformant.   
    Remember to always click Go after you apply new filters to allow the dashboard to reflect data based on your new filters.  
      
    Note: Only organizations connected to Gateway can see ZDHC Certifications on the Certification filter.   
      
    On the bottom-right under the filter section, you can find the options below to export.  
      

  1.  Click to download Performance InCheck data from your supplier who have Performance InCheck via Excel or PDF.   
    As you scroll down, two pie charts will appear to show your supplier's product count and weight based on your filters.   

  1. Click View More to view the conformance in a list view.   

  • Conformance by count:  
          

  • Conformance by weight:  
       

C) Product Conformance  

This shows the overall product conformance of your entire supply chain by product count and weight.  

  1. Click Product Conformance.  

  1. Filter by Suppliers, Countries, Connection, All Connections, All Products, Date Period, Inventory Type, Certification Standards, and Product Tags.  
      
    Note: Only organizations connected to Gateway can see ZDHC Certifications on the Certification filter.   

  1. Choose to export your data via PDF or Excel by clicking the icons below.  

  1. Hover over the sections in the diagram to view the number of products in each section.  
      

D) Transparency Trend 

This tab shows the trend of Identified and Unknown Products, Product Breakdown and its details, and Action Items that can be sorted out through the filters. 
 
Note that the default view of the page shows the aggregated view. Below is an explanation of the page view. 
Aggregated - This view shows the 12-month record of products from the beginning of upload.  Data are shown from the range of month. (Default view) 
Monthly - This view shows the data until the selected month only. Click the corresponding bar to view the monthly data breakdown and action items. 
 
Click  to filter the Transparency Trend view. 
Remember the selected Certification Standard reflects the data of the page. 

 
 
Use the functionalities in the red box to download data through print, pdf, and/or excel. 
 

 
Below is an example of the table view of the Product Breakdown.  
To view the pie chart, click Show No-Overlap. 
 

 
Show Overlap      -  Products are counted in all categories. 
Show No-Overlap - Products are counted based on the hierarchy/ priority below. 
                                 1.Commodity 
                                 2. MRSL 2.0 
                                 3. Screened Chemistry 
                                 4. SDS 
 
Below is a pie chart of Product Breakdown's Show No-Overlap. 
 

  

As you scroll down the page, the Action Items show the products that are unknown and with a restricted ingredient.  

  • Unknown - Total Number of Products that are not tracked as a commodity, Certificate, or SDS 

  • Registered Ingredient - Total Number of Products with an MRSL ingredient listed on the SDS or Chemical Score less than 20N 

The table shows the Supplier, Supplier Code, Product Name, PDID, Alert, and the Action needed for the product. 

 

The ACTION column automatically generates the steps to add the product as identified. 

  • For Unknown Products, the steps needed is to either Upload SDS or Set Commodity 

  • For Products with a screened chemistry score of less than 20 or have an ingredient with a cas number in the MRSL, then the action is to replace the product.

E) Questions  

The Product Questions tab is where you can see questions and responses for all of your Inventory Product Questions (IPQ's). If you are a supplier, depending on your customers' requirements, you may have multiple questionnaires from different brands.  The Questions tab is useful for both brands and suppliers who want to identify questions that have not been answered.   1. Click the Questions tab.  

  1. Filter by Suppliers, Countries, Connection, All Connections, All Products, Date Period, Question(s), and View.  
    Note: Only the Selection question will be visible in the dashboard.   
      

  1. Choose to view your issued questions or questions you responded to.  

    As you scroll down, a chart appears to show the question response and details based on your filter.  
        

F) Inventory Products  

The Inventory Products tab shows a list view of unique, matched products in the selected inventory month. Refine your searches by Suppliers, Countries, Connections, All Connections, All Products, Date Period, Product Name, Inventory Type, and Certification Standard(s).  

  1. Use the filter options.  
      

  1. Click the Product Name, if applicable, to open the Product Card.  
    Note: This is where you can find product-specific details like SDS and Chemistry analyses.   

  1. Filter the date.  

  1. Click Apply and then, click Go.  
      
    The Top 5 commodities and products by weight are shown. The ALL OTHERS represent the products from the Top 6 and above.   

    If a product has the same standard name, the weight is added to represent one product on the chart.  
    Note: Only products with a Standard Name are shown on the chart.  

G) Inventory Status  

The Inventory Status tab shows you your suppliers' inventory status.   
For example, the Inventory Status tab shows if the Suppliers were late on uploading or have missed an upload.  

  1. Filter products by Suppliers, Countries, Connections, All Connections, Date Period, Inventory Type, and Days before Late.  

  1. You may choose to export your data via PDF or Excel by clicking the icons below.  

  1. Hover over the sections in the diagram to view the status of your inventory in each section.
