Inventory Tips & Tricks

This guide will provide you with two tips on how you can add your inventories smoothly. The tips below can be found on the Inventory page under the Chemical module located on the left navigation menu. 

Note: Only organizations connected to Gateway can see ZDHC Certifications on the Certification filter. If the organization is not connected, then the certificate is indicated as NONE in the result. 

 

01/ Copying an Inventory 
 

  1. Use the feature to transfer matched products to new inventories to avoid re-matching products. 
     

  1. Refer to Using the Copy Inventory Tool. 
     

02/Adding and Matching  

 

  1. Use .  
     

  1. Remove any special characters from the product names.  
    Note: We noticed that a few records include "%" symbols. These may be affecting your search results.  
     

  1. Try using one keyword at a time when searching.  
    For example, if there are no matches for the product "BEST ACID BLUE GWF", try searching "Best Acid" only, or "Best Acid Blue". 
     
     

  1. Make sure that there are no unintended spaces in your keyword. 
    Note: Extra spaces can affect your search. 
     

  1. Try removing the manufacturer. 
    Note: This may open your search. 
     

  1. Reach out to appsupport@adec-innovations.comif you come across products with duplicate matches to confirm which match to choose.
