Cached data is information stored from a website or application that is regularly used. Cached data allows your browser to load webpages faster. However, if too much information is cached your browsing speed may be negatively affected.
Clearing your cache removes temporary files and enhances your system and application performance.
Follow the steps below to clear your browser's cache.
Google Chrome
Open Chrome.
Click Menu at the top right.
Select More tools.
Click Clear browsing data...
Select the time range.
Check the box next to Cached images and files.
Click Clear data.
Mozilla Firefox
Open Firefox.
Click View history, save bookmarks , and more at the top right.
Click Internet options.
Click Clear Recent History...
Under the History category, check the box next to Cache.
Click Clear Now
Internet Explorer
Open Internet Explorer.
Click the gear icon at the top right alongside the Home and Star icon.
In the general tab, find the Browsing history section.
Click Delete...
Delete Browsing History pops up.
Click Delete.
Apple Safari
Open Safari.
Select Preferences.
Select Advanced.
Check Show Develop menu in menu bar.
Go back to homepage.
Select Develop.
Click Empty Cache.
Microsoft Edge
Open Microsoft Edge.
Click Settings and More at the top right.
Select Settings.
Select Privacy and security in the left pane tab
Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
Check the box next to Cached data and files.
Click Clear.
